THE ROLE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN MODERN BUSINESS

The implementation of information technology has brought many technical and organizational challenges that vary by company size, industry, and organizational culture. One of the most common technical challenges when introducing information technologies is the integration of new technologies with existing systems. Many companies use outdated or fragmented systems that are not compatible with modern information technology solutions. Information technology is a powerful catalyst for changes in organizational structure, enabling organizations to be more flexible, efficient and adaptable to changing business conditions. Traditional hierarchical structures are increasingly being replaced by hybrid, matrix and agile structures, where information technology plays a key role in communication, collaboration and resource management. By introducing technology, organizations can react more quickly to changes in the market and remain competitive, making information technology not only a support for business processes, but also the main driver of structural changes in modern business.Downloads
